Welcome to my ePortfolio!
My name is Megan White and I am a graduate student at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I am studying Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Medical Product Development. During my undergraduate years at the University of Michigan, I studied Biomedical Engineering and Music. I will be graduating in May 2017, and am actively looking for full time employment. I aspire above all to help people through biomedical research and engineering, and believe that the skills I have gained through my schooling and work experience have prepared me well to accomplish that.
I have always loved math and science, and found engineering to be the perfect balance of the two. Besides the technical subjects, music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started out playing piano and singing, then picked up the clarinet, the guitar, and the ukulele. I feel a deep passion for music and how it can engage me and my emotions. I can't go a day without doing something music related! It has a way of expressing things that words cannot.
Family and friends are also very important to me. My family and friends have always been there for me, especially through my college years as I discover more about life. I wouldn't be who I am today without them!
My faith is an ever growing aspect of my life that has molded me over the years. It has given me the courage to pursue what I'm pursuing, and gets me through the hard times in life.
